Fitz Allen Nam-ay

Fitz Allen Nam-ay was born April 23, 2011 and was diagnosed with ASP (Autism Spectrum Disorder) last July 12,2016. He was referred to a SPED school because some schools declined to accept inclusion under his state. Went to the Light of Christ SPED School and Therapy Center for a year and undergoing occupateion and speech therapy at the same time. He responded well and also performed with excellent grades on his class. He was then referred to a normal school so he can develop his social skills and academic learning. He was seen with more improvement and responded well by showing willingness on his studies. Currently a Grade 3 pupil.

Lebron Escalante

Lebron finished pre-school in a day care center school year 2017-2018. He was referred to a specialized education program to address his learning needs. A Psycho-Educational Assessment was done. Impression and results showed he is eligible to undergo Speech and Occupational Therapies while SpEd interventions on a one-on-one instuctional setting is included.

Lebron is the youngest child of two children. The family lives in a house owned by the sister of his mother. His father works as “bagger/merchandizer” in SM Supermarket under an agency receiving a minimum wage per month. Mother stays at home to take care of the young children.

The earnings of the family are just enought to pay for the basic needs. The special needs of a son in the family is difficult for them to accept and support the therapy and special education tuition fee that Lebron needs as he grows to improve his current developmental delays.

Rhaenalla Jeromae Lintingco

Rhaenella is nineteen (19) years old, Grade Seven student. No medical diagnosis was submitted by the parent. Manifestations and observations by the teachers are Learning needs where Reading comprehension is the priority to be addressed in one-on-one tutorial. She is the eldest child of the family.

Manuel Avelino Querubin

Manuel is sixteen (16) years old, Grade Ten student. He is diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy. He attends non-major subjects in the regular class—partial inclusion.

He needs to have training on Independent living—life skills with vocational classes. Counselling and career planning is in progress. He is the only child of the family.

Chester is fifteen (15) years old, Grade Nine student. No medical diagnosis was presented by parents. Manifestations and observations by the teachers include learning needs to be addressed on one-on one reading remediation to increase comprehension. Tutorials on functional Reading and Mathematics towards life skills are currently on-going.

Analiza is fifteen (15) years old, Grade Nine student. She needs to undergo one-on-one reading remediation. Counselling and career planning is in progress. She is the youngest child of the family.

Arvis is fourteen (14) years old, Grade Five student. Medical diagnosis is Autism Spectrum Disorder. He is the fourth child among five siblings of Mr. and Mrs. Verana living in Caloocan City.

Max is a thirteen (13) year-old, Grade Six student. His medical diagnosis is Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder (ADHD) with learning disability. He was ordered to undergo Occupational Therapy once a week to address specific learning needs.

He is the firstborn son of the family residing in Caloocan City.

Ethan is eleven (11) years old, a Grade III student. Medical diagnosis is Autism Spectrum Disorder. He undergoes Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy. He is the second child of Mr. and Mrs. Farochilen residing in Caloocan City.

Sara Doreen M. Larracas

Sara is ten (10) years old, Grade Three student Medical diagnosis is Autism Spectrum Disorder, with Language Impairment and Epilepsy. Recommendations of the doctors are: Speech-Language Therapy, continuous placement in SpEd program with provision of IEP, and consistent follow up with her pediatric neurologist.

She is the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Larracas, residing in Caloocan City.
